Accreditation is open to certification bodies operating in Africa that certify halaal products, premises, or services. Applications are assessed against HACA's published standards.
On submission, the Secretariat acknowledges receipt within five working days and issues an application reference. Incomplete applications are returned with a written list of outstanding items.
