The Accreditation Authority
HACA is an independent accreditation body. We accredit the certification bodies that audit halaal compliance, confirming they follow recognised halaal standards and maintain procedural consistency, and we certify businesses directly against those same published standards.
The Halaal Accreditation Council of Africa is committed to upholding the highest standards of Halaal integrity by providing credible, transparent, and internationally recognized accreditation, certification oversight, training, and advisory services. We strive to safeguard consumer confidence, promote ethical and Shari’ah-compliant practices, and support businesses in achieving excellence in Halaal compliance. Through collaboration, education, and continuous improvement, we aim to strengthen the Halaal industry across Africa and facilitate access to global Halaal markets while remaining steadfast to the principles of the Qur’an and the Sunnah.
