UAE Halal Standard (UAE.S 2055-1)

HACA’s published halaal standards are also developed with reference to UAE.S 2055-1, the United Arab Emirates’ national standard for halal food, administered by the Emirates Authority for Standardisation and Metrology (ESMA). Referencing UAE.S 2055-1 helps align HACA-accredited certification bodies with practices recognised across major halal trade markets in the Gulf region.
